Little-Strikers support early child development to ensure “Every Child” has “Every Chance” to achieve their full potential.
A child’s early years development is crucial to their life, walking, talking and personalities are formed when young. Sports skills play an important role in all parts of a young child’s life, as well being proven that children involved in sports gain psychological benefits compared to those that are not, so let Little-Strikers give all children the very best start in life possible to develop and be school ready in their early years ahead
Little-Strikers early years programme provides fun and structured sessions, ensuring that each child’s development is recognized, encouraged and praised by instructors. Little-Strikers sessions are delivered in all early years settings, including children Centres, play groups, nurseries and schools.
The best place to start is the very early years of a child’s life. We know from neurological research that the early years are crucial for setting a solid foundation for children’s development and well-being.
Research strongly indicates that investment in the early years not only increases the potential of the individual child, but benefits society as a whole.
That is why investing in the early years of childhood, as well as a commitment to children and young people at all ‘ages and stages’ are major priorities for the Little-Strikers programme.
Little-Strikers nursery sessions are an ideal way for children to experience fun and excitement through structured sessions that include: songs, rhymes games and activities using football as the medium, supporting children’s development and individual achievements, working with the new Early Years Foundation Stage.
These fantastic sessions promote physical activity and fundamentals of movement whilst building on independence and confidence. Using many different games throughout the programme children will be able to play these games again in Nursery, at home with parents or guardians.
All sessions have been created to develop speech and language development, fundamentals of movement, self-confidence, self-esteem, social skills, numeracy and understanding instruction and encouraging behavior management.
